About Government Resolutions (GRs)

A Government Resolution (GR), or शासन निर्णय, is an official order of the Government of Maharashtra. The School Education and Sports Department uses GRs to announce decisions about schools, teachers, examinations, schemes, salaries and transfers. Schools and education offices follow the latest GR on a subject.

How to find a GR quickly

Open the official GR portal from the card above.
Choose the department, for example School Education and Sports.
Narrow the list by date, or search with a keyword from the subject.
Open the PDF and note the date and the unique code (सांकेतांक) printed on it.
If a newer GR changes an older one, follow the newer GR.

Tips for teachers
