Last month, we celebrated Diwali at home. We cleaned and decorated our house a few days before. On Diwali day, I made a big rangoli at the door with my sister. My mother made karanji, chakli and laddus. In the evening, we wore new clothes and did Lakshmi puja. Then we lit diyas and hung a paper lantern. My grandparents and cousins also came to our house. We shared sweets with our neighbours. It was a happy day for all of us.
