This is a classroom activity where you must perform a play with your friends. Below is a short model script for the courtroom scene to help you start.
Scene: The Court of the Wise Qazi
Kasim: (Bowing respectfully) My Lord! I have come to seek justice. I bought a well from Ahmad, but now he stops me from drawing water, saying he only sold the well, not the water!
Qazi: (Looking thoughtful) Ahmad, is this true? Did you sell the well to Kasim?
Ahmad: (Smiling slyly) Yes, My Lord. I sold him the well, but not the water inside it. If he wants the water, he must pay me separately every day.
Qazi: (Nodding slowly) Hmm, I see that you are right. What you have sold is the well. The water is all yours. Isn't that so?
Ahmad: (Overjoyed) Oh, My Lord! I am so grateful you understand. The water belongs to me!
Qazi: (Sternly) In that case, Ahmad, why are you keeping your water in Kasim's well? You have no right to keep your belongings on his property. Remove your water immediately, or pay Kasim a daily rent to store it there!
Ahmad: (Shocked and confused) I... but... rent? Remove the water?
(The people in the court begin to laugh loudly. Ahmad lowers his head in defeat.)
